Matthew Peak: Horror fans will know Matthew for his iconic movie posters for the first five A Nightmare On Elm Street films. Yes, if you found yourself in or around a movie theatre or video store during the film’s original reign of terror it was Matthew's art that donned the theatre walls, VHS box and soundtrack covers. Matthew's art has also graced the covers of many soundtrack albums from The Twilight Zone, Star Trek and Citizen Kane to several of Alfred Hitchcock's films (not to mention albums from Hans Zimmer, James Horner, Thomas Newman and Family Guy's Seth McFarlane)!
Matthew will discuss everything from how he got the Elm Street gig and how long the paintings took him to the positive side of deadlines, ripping up his paintings in frustration, being haunted by his art, why his work for Nightmare 5 got pulled from the ad campaign, his cameo in said film and painting vs. digital art.

Yvette Kaplan: Yvette has worked as a writer, director, producer and in several other capacities on a number of animated projects over the years from King Of The Hill, Futurama, Zack And Quack, The Magic School Bus and Doug to the 2002 film, Ice Age. However, she is probably most known for her work as animation director of the original hit series, Beavis And Butthead and it’s feature film Beavis And Butthead Do America.
Yvette and Kasey will go behind the scenes and discuss not only the inner workings of Beavis And Butthead from the early challenges of the show and the infamous “fire” controversy to working with Mike Judge and the growing pains that came with the jump to the big screen. How did Yvette go from retiring from animation in the 80’s and hand painting baby clothes to directing Beavis And Butthead’s music video with Cher and the duo’s appearance on Letterman? You’ll have to tune in to find out!

You’ll be treated to actual audio of the ass sneeze that is Carla Pipekiss, who has been yelling so loudly at herself in a drug and alcohol fueled haze that residents from the building across the street start yelling back at her. Kasey also does battle with an obnoxious home care worker that probably killed her pet rock as a kid, breaks up the “Mensa meeting” between Yellanore next door and her hobbling hobgoblin of a sister, Peg Leg Pam, provides an update on everyone’s favorite drug inhaling derelict, Crackhead Chrissy and pines over not being able to reach the last box of reduced in price frozen treats at the local merchant of food stuffs. Todd Whitener : Todd burst onto the scene selling more than 1.5 million records as guitarist of the band Days Of The New. He brought dazzling fretwork and vocal harmonies to DOTN's self-titled debut which contained the hit songs "Touch, Peel And Stand", "Shelf In The Room" and "The Downtown". With a platinum album and a tour with Metallica under his belt, things seemed to be coming up Todd.
Then, singer Travis Meeks abruptly fired the entire band forcing Todd and his fellow bandmates to resort to working menial jobs while they picked up the pieces. Todd and company battled back, signing to Maverick Records with their new band, Tantric, scoring hits with songs like "Astounded" "Mourning" and the Billboard #1 "Breakdown" . Tantric toured with Kid Rock, Creed and 3 Doors down among others and their debut album went gold. However, their next album did not. Though it sold respectably selling more than 200,000 copies Tantric fell victim to the sophomore jinx. Record company woes and line-up changes followed with Todd himself leaving the band in 2007.
Under the name Whitener, Todd would go on to release several records. Now, he's joined forces once again with his former DOTN and Tantric bandmates to form the band Blisskrieg with singer, Donald Carpenter. Their debut, Remedy is on sale now.
Todd and Kasey go in depth on the writing and recording of Remedy and focus in on several tracks, including the incredible lead single "Inside Me". Mr. Whitener also has some sound advice for harmony singers, gives a shout out to legendary pedal steel player, Van Coffee (George Jones) who played on the song, "Destination Unknown", talks slide guitar and the influence of Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots.
Steve Gorman: Original drummer of The Black Crowes, current drummer of the incredible, Trigger Hippy, author and radio host, Steve Gorman is coming back to The Kasey Ferguson Show!
Steve will discuss everything from the importance of a band having a great team behind them and working with Jimmy Page to The Black Crowes costumed mushroom party with little people, the writing of the By Your Side album, why they threatened to kick legendary producer, Rick Rubin's ass and the misconceptions about his involvement with the band.

PLUS: Kasey gets a little too rambunctious and accidentally karate chops an unsuspecting Doug Mcfly, leading the dastardly Doug to return fire with an attack so heinous and foul it offended even the unflappable, Cousin Miri! You'll also be treated to a free Spanish lesson after Kasey inhales his beer too quickly, and your hopeless host comes clean about which Canadian icon he insulted on numerous occasions with his sophomoric shenanigans.
Kasey's Hollywood Remake : Kasey recasts the shit filled cinnamon heart that was the 2001 slasher film, Valentine, with the likes of CNN's Wolf Blitzer and the Samoan Rugby World Cup team of 2002.
Kasey's Report Card : It's on to 1st Grade for Kasey "The Kid" and it turns out the young whippersnapper doesn't play well with others. Imagine that! More revelations from his real report card as Kasey continues to get in touch with his younger self.
Kingston Ribfest And Craft Beer Show : Kasey's interview with Kingston's own, Spearhead Brewing Company from his pre pandemic trip to the Limestone City's celebration of suds. Dwight Little: Director of Halloween 4 : The Return Of Michael Myers, Rapid Fire (starring Brandon Lee) and Marked For Death (starring Steven Seagal) brings his evil eye to The Kasey Ferguson Show . Dwight is answering the questions that fans want to know about his Halloween film, from the absence of Jamie Lee Curtis and whether or not the character of Lindsey is the same from the first film to the inside skinny on some of the kills, the challenges behind the scenes and most importantly why the film deprived Kasey (and many other horned up horror lovers) of boobies in the film's infamous funbag fake out.
Dwight will also discuss his latest film Last Rampage : The Escape Of Gary Tison starring (The T-1000!) Robert Patrick, Heather Graham (Boogie Nights) and Free Willy's Jason James Richter, working with Filter's Richard Patrick on the film's musical score and so much more.
Matthew Peak : The artist behind the iconic posters and VHS box covers for A Nightmare on Elm Street 1-5 is painting The Kasey Ferguson Show red! Yes, Matthew Peak is swinging by this year's Halloween Special but instead of talking about the artwork for the Nightmare franchise (don't worry they'll get to that in Part 2 of the interview to air later) , Matthew is revealing and discussing the song he wrote for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors that was nearly included as the movie's closing credits theme for the very FIRST time!
Yep, you read that right, his song "Freddy's Back" was in serious contention for the film's soundtrack before Dokken's "Dream Warriors" ultimately won out. Kasey will broadcast this historic horror tune for the FIRST TIME EVER and unearth the story surrounding this lost song, not to mention future plans for the tune now that it's been located. Matthew will also discuss if he'll be doing more prints of his much beloved Nightmare art and more.

PLUS : Is Kasey's bloodsucking bud, Count Mcfly giving him the silent treatment for not getting around to taking him costume shopping? Or is it because Kasey didn't get around to baking a pumpkin pie? Turns out Siri's witchy cousin, Miri is stirring the pot (or perhaps cauldron), turning Kasey and Doug Mcfly against one other.
The Shortlist : Kasey wants to hunt down COVID-19 and rip out it's still beating, Halloween hating, black heart but since that may prove difficult for a variety of reasons, like Dexter, Kasey is channeling his violent impulses. How? By compiling a short list of ways he's going to kill COVID of course, including but not limited to : Repeatedly earworming it with the riff from "The Final Countdown", summoning Pumpkinhead, Dragonzord and Chuck Norris, dutch oven, talk it's ears off, face melting kazoo solo, micromanage it until it quits, giving the virus a musical instrument and telling IT to try and make a living.

Dean Karr : Dean has directed macabre music videos for Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, Danzig, Korn, Godsmack, Deftones and countless others. He even directed Iron Maiden's epic Rock In Rio concert DVD! In addition to directing dark and delicious videos, he's made a name for himself creating the cover art for artists looking for something a cut above, such as Alice Cooper, Slipknot, Pantera, Megadeth and Tool just to name a few. Don't even get started on photography, Dean has shot more shit up than Rambo. Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, Velvet Revolver, the Download festival, even Playboy, Dean's done it all. So, it's time to return fire and pose a few questions to the soul stealing, camera wielding madman.
Dean will discuss the gory goods from his early days working in a cemetery and sneaking his camera into Black Sabbath shows as a teen to the iconic "Sweet Dreams" video he made for Marilyn Manson, his tribute to Eddie Van Halen, filming Rock In Rio with Iron Maiden, the effects of budgets being slashed on music videos, the influence of horror films and dark literature on his work, sharks and the making of the classic Deftones video for "My Own Summer " (Shove It). He'll also dole out a hilarious Ozzy story and since he's designed some legendary covers such as Manson's Antichrist Superstar and Tool's Undertow, he's also picking some of his favorite album covers.
Bobby Blitz : He's sold over 16 million albums worldwide as the lead vocalist of the seminal metal band, Overkill. Yes, Bobby Blitz is coming to the homicidal home of Halloween! In addition to working on new material with Overkill, Bobby is currently fronting the supergroup and cover band BPMD, which also features members of Metal Allegiance and former members of Dream Theater and Machine Head. Their debut album , American Made is out now and features heavied up versions of songs made popular by American rock bands from the 70's including ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Grand Funk Railroad.
The gruesome twosome will raise their glasses to salute the hardworking road crews of the world and discuss everything from what it would be like if Corey Feldman covered an Overkill song and what Bobby learned from Steven Tyler to BPMD's unique approach to picking cover tunes, getting props from Michael Anthony himself for BMPD'S Van Halen cover, an update on the new Overkill album/touring plans, and a comical road story involving The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The results are....eerily fascinating.
